This is to increase the the number of max downloads to 10.

1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).

2. Locate the following key in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following registry values:

"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a

4. Quit Registry Editor.

I've never been limited as to how many simultaneous downloads I can have at the same time. Granted, I don't usually have very many running lol. I know I've done 4 at once though, and that is without editing the registy.

The default is 2 I think, maybe it's 4. I know that this came up before and a post was made about it on the old forum. Several people changed the setting and loved it but I never got around to doing it and couldn't find the thread that it was in. I finally found it so I figured I would put it here just in case anyone else needed it.

Hmm, interesting. The one thing that popped into my mind was this...

Are they 56k-ers? If so, maybe this is something the internet connection wizard sets. It may allow a higher munmber for broadband users. I really have no idea if that's true lol, that was just some speculation I had.

Yeah, yeah, you broadbanders just use any chance you get to stick it to the 56kers. :pokin:

HAHAHA!!! You use any chance you get to use those goofy smilies!
