OMG! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! I bought this game on a whim at Best Buy not long ago and installed it last night. After playing it for about 5 minutes I could tell this game sucked ass. I continued to play it for about an hour and I'm guessing I got through the first part. Well I got outside onto a balcony at least before I stopped playing.
The controls are so fucking horrible you can hardly play the game. Every time you put yourself into first person view and move, something happens and you're forced back to third person view! What should have taken maybe 10 minutes tops to do in the game took me about an hour because I kept having to restart it over and over again. I had no choice. It would kill me and I'd have to do it again. I never even got to shoot a fucking zombie the whole time!
I've been neglecting reading PC Gamer the past few issues and need to catch up. I may still buy games eventually I want to try for myself to see what they're like. But from here on I'll certainly be taking the reviews into consideration. I don't know what PC Gamer gave this game, but from what I've seen on the internet, most people are saying this game is a disaster. And after watching this guy's review on Youtube, I don't plan to go any further with this game.
I'd have to say that this game is the worst game I've purchased since Force Commander and Marvin knows what that game was like. Even Tabula Rasa seemed better than this. Not much better, but still lol. Watch this guy's videos if you want to know just how shitty this game is. I expected more from Atari damnit. :stan:
