Oh yeah, Killzone is a bad ass game! I am working on my last rank which will take about 2 month's. You need 10,000 (accum) points to get from Private to General of the Army where I am now. The final rank requires 100,000 - pretty big freaking leap from 10,000 to 100,000. I started a new character just for the fun of it and named him COGOPS-DOT-COM. It's pretty funny that every time I kill someone it says they were killed by COGOPS-DOT-COM, lol. I amuse myself. Anyway, which games do you have Error? If you're ever on my username is beow1776...and COGOPS-DOT-COM.

Isn't it harder to control the first person shooter games without a keyboard and mouse? I was hoping that they'd make that Killzone game for pc too, but they didn't of course. Perhaps when they drop the price down a bit further I'll pick one of those up to play with ya'll. I don't have $300+ right now for it.

As for a PS3, I was going to get one when I can wheedle it for closer to 200 which ought to be easier if they lowered the price.
On a side note, have you tried any of the Resident Evil, Grand Theft Auto or Metal Gear games? Those were about all I had for my PS2.

I bought my PS3 @ gamestop when they had the PS2 trade in deal. They took $100 bucks off for my old PS2 and 3 PS2 games. At first it was harder to control without a keyboard/mouse. Especially in Elder Scrolls because it's like a single player WOW. You have inventory items, spells, weapon changes, armor changes and you can only set up 8 hot keys. It was also hard in Killzone at first and my kill ratio was for shit but I've gotten used to it. In Killzone I freaking love playing the sniper character. The sniper can go invisible and has a spot & tag feature that places a reticle on all players within the field of view. You can then see the reticle whether they are indoors or out and once they are tagged your teammates can see them on their radar. It actually reminds me of DF: Land Warrior without the need to adjust the scope for distance, wind etc. The game is somewhat squad based but not really coop. You can have 4 4-man squads per team in a 32 player game and I have seen clans tear it up when working as a squad with an assault character, tactician, support and medic. Sorry Mandarr but I don't think they'll ever make a KZ for PC though because it is a Sony exclusive.

There was a Bushido Blade for PS2? Should have payed more attention because I used to kick everyone's asses on the Playstation in high school. I liked to chop their legs out from under them and watch them stump around. Truth be told I lent it to someone between Vice City and San Andreas before I got it back from them to play the new Grand Theft Auto but I got tired of the ghetto crap in about an hour and gave it back so I really don't now what all there was.

Let me know what games ya'll have. I went ahead and ordered one off of NewEgg.com, it won't be here untill sometime next week though. And it's not backwards compatible like previous versions of the PS3. I'd particularly like to know what NCAA Football version Error has for his PS3 lol.
I did get Killzone 2 and the Force Unleashed used at Gamestop today. And I'm supposed to get some game called Uncharted: Something with the unit. It's the 160 gb model and I was able to put it on 90 days Bill Me Later. So can just make a few $150 payments and be done with it before they charge me interest.
I also have preordered Borderlands for the PC. Don't know if any of ya'll were looking to get that game and I'm not sure if it's playable with everyone from all the platforms. I just know Ethakk is planning to get it on the pc more than likely since he doesn't have a PS3. That game looks like it's going to be badass for sure!

I'll send you a friend invite Error. I bought NCAA10 off of Ebay the other day and got it last night. I'm not quite good enough to take on other people yet. I'm not doing too great vs. the computer so far on All American. Which apparently is what you need to play on in order for it to be a ranked game.
I'm getting a little better aiming with Killzone, but nothing like using a mouse. I just read on a google search that I can get a wireless usb keyboard for about $14 at Radio Shack so I'll have to check that out. And apparently you can get an adapter for normal headphones to go to a usb connection to use with the ps3 as well. If I had an extra $60 I'd buy another Sennheiser headset, but since I'm pretty well tapped right now I'll just get the connector and use one of my other headsets that kind of hurts my ears. Eventually though if I was using it a lot I'd go to a Sennheiser, damn things are the most comfortable headphones I've ever had! They're even comfortable when you're wearing glasses. :applause:

I has got a PS3.. One of the fat ones though.. They are quite noisy when they get hot but its still a sick machine.. I'll go look up my user name fellas.
