I made (well, actually I downloaded and heavilly modified them, but I changed so much I feel like I made them lol) a couple workbooks for calculating actual damage per second for Carbineers and Pistoleers. All you have to do is enter in your character's speed skill mod and the weapon stats (for up to 7 weapons). The spread sheets will calculate actual damage, actual reload/delay time, and actual HAM costs for each of the specials. There is a summery page that will display the DPS values before armor piercing come into play, against a target with no armor, against a PvP target with light armor, and against a PvP target with light aramor and ranged mitigation 3. I put a toggle button on there for your character's speed mod so that you can play with the numbers and see what it would take to hit the speed cap on certain specials (to know how many skill tapes you should buy).
