I just found a new source of free software that works pretty well to block active x controls , flash animations ,scripts, you name it , it works with Internet Explorer , you can turn off all those annoying ads when travelling in cyberspace!
I have been using "Pop-up Ad-Filter" for over 2 years now , it still works great! But testing this new software ,which is free, seems to be leading to a change for me , feel free to try it out , go to sites that have animations and flash and other sources of spyware , scripts , java whatever , this will block it , it even blocks sounds!
